Pictured: Joseph F De Luca and his separation papers
His son, Michael writes ...thank you very much for posting "A History Of Two Years Of Activation" , my Father Joseph F De Luca , was assigned to Headquarters Company , his name is listed on page 39 of 70 in the article. It was very rewarding for me to read about their mission and learn what my father did during the war ! He had only told me stories , but never really described there actual mission. So again, I really enjoyed your history of their Battalion!
Thanks Again ;Michael DeLuca

Michael, My Dad, Grant Hancock, had such fond memories of your Dad, Joe. I have a lot of photos that I inherited from my Dad. I'll scan and post them. Your Dad is in a lot of them. My father passed away a year ago this month.
My father was Grant C. Hancock. He served in the 763 Railway Battalion. I have a lot of photos that I inherited from him. He passed away last year at the age of 96. I would like to scan and share these photos to all who may be interested. Thank you.
