The log of the locations of the 710 RGD to June 4 of 1945 is only partially correct. One train load of the 710 was in Paris Sep 1st. I visited the first hospital train, train # 27, from the 3rd Army front on Sep 1st with our Chaplain Noel Taylor and handed out bibles and tried to comfort them. Officially the log shows we were in Chartres. Some of our guys, according to Lou Grill(now passed away) were in Paris a few days earlier. My E mail address is correct, but I left out the carrier @awl.com.
