Nice to see this post. My father was in Co C, 744th, as an engineer. I'd be interested in additional photos.

My Father was Sgt Henry Espinosa. He was a team lead some months after D-Day with the orders to rebuild the railways from France to Germany. I would very much like to see any additional photos.

My dad is shown in both pictures. Sgt Henry C. Espinosa led a Rail Team (second group Picture)and on the left of the two man picture. I'd be thrilled to get any documentation or pictures or stats on the rail build by the 744th from Normandy to Germany.

Hi,

My father is pictured in this group shot. He's the Sgt in front with the hat and cigarette. Sgt. Henry Espinosa. In our talks he indicated that he got promoted/selected to lead the teams as he worked for Union Pacific in track repair, as he was very sure of himself so he made a good leader. I'd love to hear/see photos...anything that can help me piece together his tour in Europe. Unfortunately, I didn't speak much of that part of his life.
Thanks,
Andrew Espinosa
