My father was a member of Company A 733 Railway Operating Battalion that served in Europe during WWII. In going through his things I came across an original company photo from Dec 1943. I'm assuming the photo was taken at Camp Jesse Turner. I have not seen any other 733 company photos posted anywhere on line. I'm wondering about the historical significance this photo may have as I am in the process of getting it restored. The process will take 3-4 weeks and I'm wondering if anyone here would be interested in this.
Please also leave an email address so I can respond to your comment or contact me directly: Nancy at militaryrailwayservice@gmail.com I want to make sure I see your comment and I will want to hear more about your Army rail connection! Thanks
