766th Railway Shop Battalion George Henry Myren

Jonathan grandson to GH Myren writes...

Nancy, I would like to find information on my Grandfathers unit The 766 RY Shop BN TC. Not sure what the RY stands for? Maybe rail way,rail yard??
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
