My father was with the 714th Railway Battalion in WWII.He has some pictures with his buddies.He talked little about it He was a brakeman.He said he did company clerk a few times and had to go to the bar and bail his buddies out for guard duty and train duty.He was I think a buck Sgt.His name Harold Clidence.He passed away in Anderson Indiana 26 Oct.2011 age 95.
